Contributed Content Connection is a centralized hub for byline news article opportunities between expert sources and media outlets. Until now, expert sources and media outlets alike had no comprehensive exchange of contributed content opportunities. Neither could find the other aside from one-off interactions. Contributed Content Connection is a collective hub of these opportunities - where expert sources and media outlets can submit and review mutual fits amongst each other.
CCC's tagline, "Pen to Paper to Published" illustrates the concept of the company and each step in the process of Contribution, Content & Connection. For their brand identity, they needed a design that illustrated these steps into one cohesive composition. Each of these steps can be found as their own 'C' within the letter mark.
Contributed - experts in their field can contribute content to media outlets & get published. This stage is represented as the 'Pen', where written works are created - illustrated as a pen writing a dotted line within the first 'C' of the logo.
Content - media outlets choose the topics writers want to cover. This stage is represented as the 'Paper', where written works can be copyrighted - illustrated as a copyright symbol within the second 'C' of the logo.
Connection - media outlets no longer need to search for experts on the topics writers want published, and no longer need to pitch to media outlets. This stage is represented as the 'Published' visual within the third 'C' of the logo, where a written piece is released to the public. This is illustrated as sound waves, highlighting the idea of the content being released through the media.
