The Healing Garden trail is a government granted project created by the Red Lake Indian Friendship Centre. This program's purpose was to create a space of healing, where access to nature-based education will be available for years to come, enhancing our relationship with Mother Earth.
Signage throughout the self-guided trail introduces visitors to native plants of the area and how they are used. A greenhouse, plant identification trail, children's garden, indoor tower gardens and various fruit bearing trees and shrubs were planted as components of the Healing Garden Trail.
